The New Face of Pop

Joined together in 2013 after 'Bot' sat down with JP Lockwood in LA and played some of Kassette's early projects made out of his one bedroom apartment in Carmichael, Ca. The Urban Dance Pop trio comparable to 21 pilots, The Chain smokers, Schwayze, 3OH!3 and similar feels to the Ready set with a mixture of All Time Low. The first time they worked together was focusing on a song that Kassette had produced and written verses for, but wasn't quite complete. The hook was crafted by JP and Bot and it ended up being their first release, Never Going Back, as a group named '#Trending'. From the completion of their first project they knew that writing music together could only get better and not exciting.

All three members are uniquely inspired from different walks of life and styles of music. 

When you hear their music, you will see the distinct blend of Hip-Hop, Dance, and Pop influences crafted by the trio. These three craft dynamic songs that drive home thoughtful messages and others that make you want to party until you drop. 

#Trending has pursued song writing together because each member has been involved in music most of their lives and they realized that no matter where you have been or what differences you may have that we all have the same wants and needs and music is a universal way to express that with more people outside of themselves.

#Trending’s latest project 'The Never Going Back EP' has been created over the last 3 years while traveling from Sacramento to LA and back. Between all of the members leading full-time work lives and attending school for music and production, the trio has not only exceeded their expectations, and have also created a new style of Pop music that is going to open the world to a mindset of Peace Love Unity and Respect. 

 #Trending knows that success is defined by making the most of what you have and using it to better the world around you. They believe success is a mixture of the ability to enjoy the world as well as influence a new wave of pop that will not only defy genre, but break old mindsets of what is or is not acceptable. These three artists will not stop at nothing to see their names in the streets of Hollywood
